The Lab is designed for the Coop’s active members, offering them a few days to pause, exchange ideas, take part in creative workshops, and step into a space for reflection alongside facilitators and peers — all within a safe and supportive setting. The focus is not on technique at all — it’s not about learning to write or film better. Rather, it’s about reflecting on how to become a creator, how to grow as an artist, how to gain a deeper understanding of oneself as a filmmaker, and how to create better alongside others. In doing so, we aim to help build the best possible conditions to sustain the long-term careers of our member filmmakers.
